Phyllis Gordon is an actress and comedienne who writes her own work.  In addition to creating “Phyllis Diller Believes in Me”, she wrote and performed the solo show “Painfully Funny” for the SoloCom Festival at People’s Improv Theatre (P.I.T.) in New York City.A stand up comic adept at characters and impressions, she has performed at Standup NY, Comic Strip, Caroline’s, Don’t Tell Mama’s, GVCC, Gotham, Improv Boston and the Comedy Studio. She also writes and performs cabaret shows for private venues.Phyllis was nominated for Broadway World’s Best Actress Award for her work in Agatha Christie’s “The Hollow” at Cortland Repertory Theatre.  She won a NEABO Award (New England Actor Best Of) for “Best Comedic Monologue”.  She provides voiceover narration for FRONTLINE (PBSWGBH).  She also created and starred in her own web series, “Who Does That?” and the puppet show “Reality Bites With Jeremy and Bernardin”, both of which appear on YouTube and were produced by her company, Strider & Sheldon Productions.
